Kraft Paper + Vintage Lace = beautiful

It's been a little bit since our last update, but we've been keeping busy! This past week, we've done everything from sunflower cake pop favors, a last minute order of 100 s'mores pops, and some custom Etsy work.

Last week, I started working on a new suite inspired by our love of kraft paper everything. It lends such an instant rustic touch that you can't help but love.

Wishes for Baby....

Just a short update this week. We've been super busy with custom requests for everything from invitations to flags to cake pops and itineraries.

We have new "Wishes for Baby" cards available now in our store as instant downloads. They're available in eight different chevron color combos, with choices for boy, girl, or neutral. At only $3 each, they're a total steal.

Wedding Calligraphy Bar Menus

Prepare yourselves....this is just the beginning of our new calligraphy items LOL.

Here for your viewing pleasure is a new bar menus featuring our new Bombshell Pro font. This matches our previously shown dinner menu. Love, love, love how these came out.

 The dinner menus are currently sized to a 5x7 size for easy placement on a table stand, or at each individual plate. The bar menu is currently sized for 8.5 x 11 for easy framing, but can easily be reformatted to a 5x7 size upon request.

Love Is Sweet....so take some treats

Our recently launched Botanical Gardens suite has been a big hit. We're now able to offer it in two color options: vibrant (original) and pastel (new) hues.

Calligraphy Menus

We've had calligraphy on our minds for a long time now. We even considered taking a class to learn it. It's really beautiful, and just lends an elegant look to everything.

Being that we have no free time to take a class, we decided to splurge and invest on the next best thing: a special, hand drawn calligraphy font-two to be exact.

It's BEAUTIFUL!! It looks just like it was hand written. We even have the option of flourishes, and an "unbroken space" which lends the illusion of the pen never having left the paper. There's so much that we can't wait to make with these, and we're in the process of designing several items.

The first to be finished is a wedding menu card. The font used on this one is "Bombshell Pro" by Emily Lime.

As usual, we can customize the colors, etc. We can even pull the exact color from an invitation or dress photo if provided for an exact match!

 These are up and available in our Etsy store as of tonight! We're offering these in two options: a DIY printable version, and a printed version on either white or cream colored cardstock. Check them out here:

Olga's Peacock Themed 24th Surprise Party

Sugar Queens was recently commissioned to throw the surprise 24th birthday party of one of our friend Olga. The theme was a purple & teal peacock theme, and we're excited that after a month of covert planning, that we're FINALLY able to post some photos of the party!

The party was held at their home in Brick, NJ. While she was out of the house for the day, we got to work getting everything ready.

When we get a theme, we're known for following through with it in all details. Check out these beautiful mason jar center pieces!

We also did matching water bottle labels. They came out so amazing that we're going to be offering them in out store! They can be found here: Peacock Feather Water Bottle Labels 

The tables were set with matching linens, and had the mason jar centerpieces tied with matching balloons, and scattered jars with votive candles in them. Vanessa made these out of baby food jars, and added coordinating ribbon and some lace to them.

The AMAZING dinner was catered by Chef In Thyme LLC. We got a TON of compliments on the food-everyone wanted to know who made it.

I know that we promised pictures of the food. But the second that we took the lids off, it was OVER. They picked them CLEAN. So here's a picture of the empty trays LOL. The food was just amazing.

For dessert, we had a huge red velvet and cream cheese birthday cake. 

We also had brownie chocolate chip bars, sugar cookies, lemon berry trifle, banana pudding trifle, and a candy bar full of the birthday girl's favorite treats.

It was a great night-thank you everyone for coming out! Can't wait to do it all over again!
